Fairfax Futures actively engages the community in a variety of ways to promote quality early childhood education and school readiness for Fairfax County's youngest children.
Fairfax Futures works to ensure quality early childhood education is included in the conversation about the importance of building successful children throughout our education system. We engage local area businesses in a dialogue about the impact school readiness has on both the current and future workforce.
Neighborhood School Readiness Teams
Through support from the Early Childhood Education Funders Collaborative, Fairfax Futures works in partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools to bring the child care community and families of rising kindergarteners together in an effective series of outreach and events to better ensure all children and families enter schools ready for success.
Fairfax Futures with generous support from Boeing works with Fairfax County family child care providers to encorporate a curriculum based program for the children in the care to better target the individual child's needs and development.
